Upgrade Samsung Galaxy S2 to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean I9100P

The good news for you is to own a phone that I9100P Galaxt S2 now they can upgrade their version to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. There are two ways to update to upgrade it to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XXLSS official firmware through Kies or official OTA update. If you can not find and proceed to flash the machine by hand, the following article will guide you how to do it.

Things to prepare before installing.

• Backup all device data.


• Surely USB Driver installed with proper equipment.


• Check the battery, the battery needs at least 60%


• EFS Backup Folder to store IMEI and other important data.


• Make sure USB Debugging is enabled.


• Installation Instructions use ODIN utility, but it only works in Windows operating system.If you use the Linux operating system (such as Ubuntu) or Mac OS then use CrossOver to run ODIN Utility in your operating system.

Install

• Extract the zip file above, you will receive a batch file tar.md5 and others.


• Extract the zip file Odin and you will get a file with Odin3 v3.07.exe few other files.


• Power off the phone.


• Jump galaxy s2 phone I9100P mode "Download Mode"


• Now run the file Odin3 v3.07.exe


• Connect your phone to the computer.


• Next select the file containing the unzipped files:

- Click the PDA button, select the file tar.md5.
- please phone buttons: select * modem * files with names similar to it.
- Click CSC button: select * CSC * file with the same name of it.
- Click PIT button, select the file. Pit

• In the Odin window, ensure the unit will restart and F.reset Time is selected.


• Check back two steps (select file and in windown)


• After completing the flash machine, your phone will reboot and you will quickly see a message PASS with green background in the box at the top left of Odin.
