By Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update for LG Optimus G E975 CM10.2

Things done prior to installation


  • Backup to restore data if the losing Up ROM.

  • Check the battery to make sure devices are above 60%. If the installation is to be carried out.

  • Certainly installed USB Driver for LG E975 Optimus G.

  • USB Debugging must be enabled before installing the ROM

  • ClockworkMod Recovery on the device already.

Carry out installation

  1. Connect your phone to your computer with USB cable.

  2. Download and coppy files to the SD card of your phone. Note: do not extract file.

  3. Disconnect the USB and then turn off your phone.

  4. Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery

  5. Create a Nandroid backup ROM to ROM later if desired inactive or not in use, you can update back to the old ROM.

  6. Proceed delete data.

  7. Choose "install zip from sdcard", then select "choose zip from sdcard". Seek file "-10.2-cm-nightly-e975.zip 20,130,819" and press the "Power" button to select. Confirm installation by selecting Yes - Install _____. Zip on the next screen. ROM will automatically install.

  8. After completing the ROM installation process, repeat the step 7 but choose gapps-jb-file-signed.zip 20,130,813 instead of ROM zip to install the Google apps package.

  9. Go to the main menu of Recovery and select "reboot system now" to reboot your phone and boot into Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM customized CM10.2. First time boot will take time so please wait.

  10. If you do not want to use this ROM anymore, but moved to the old ROM you need to boot into recovery, select "backup and restore" and restore your ROM with further instructions.
