Note:

Things to check before proceeding to root.

• Backup important data. Avoid case when the data set is deleted.


• Check the battery and make sure to reach over 60%.


• Already USB Driver for Asus Transformer TF700


• Make sure USB Debugging is enabled prior to installation.


• The phone has been unlocked.


• Phone is root and install ClockworkMod.

The file to download to conduct Up ROM.

• CyanogenMod 10.2 [Download latest version]


• Google Apps [Filename: gapps-jb-20130813-signed.zip]

Proceed Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Asus Transformer TF700

• Connect your phone to your computer with USB cable.


• Download and coppy files to the SD card of your phone. Note: do not extract file.


• Disconnect the USB and then turn off your phone.


• Boot into ClockworkMod recovery (press and hold Volume Down + Power until the message appears "Press Vol. Up to enter RCK (5s)", in less than 5 seconds, you have to press the Volume UP on the new CWM)


• Create a Nandroid backup ROM


• Proceed delete data.


• Choose "install zip from sdcard", then select "choose zip from sdcard". Seek CM10.2 zip file and press the "Power" button to select. Confirm installation by selecting Yes - Install _____. Zip on the next screen. ROM will automatically install.


• After completing the ROM installation process, repeat the step 7 but choose gapps-jb-file-signed.zip 20,130,813 instead of ROM zip to install the Google apps package.


• Go to the main menu of Recovery and select "reboot system now" to reboot the tablet and boot into Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM customized CM10.2. First time boot will take time so please wait.


• If this ROM does not suit you, move the old ROM by booting into recovery, select "backup and restore" and restore ROM in the next tutorial.
