Note : This guide is only for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 device not for other devices, Gozzone will not be responsible for any damage that may happen to your device. Although the errors will not happen if you stick to the instructions below.
Some things to do before you proceed with the installation.
- Full Data Backup to restore data in case erased when installing ROM.
- Check the battery on the device, ensuring at least 80% longer battery life.
- Installing the USB Driver for Galaxy Note N7000 computer.
- Make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
- Equipment has been installed ClockworkMod Recovery.
The downloaded file needs to conduct root
CM10.2 Nightly Build Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM for Galaxy Note N7000 [Filename: 10.2 to 20,130,904 cm-night-n7000.zip] Google Apps [Filename: gapps-JB-20,130,813-signed.zip]
Install Android 4.3 ROM on Galaxy Note N7000
- Connect your phone to your computer with USB cable.
- Download and coppy files onto the phone's SD card. Note: do not extract the file.
- Disconnect the USB and then turn off your phone.
- Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery
- Create a Nandroid backup ROM
- Proceed to delete data.
- Choose "install zip from sdcard", then select "choose zip from sdcard". Seek file "-10.2-cm-nightly-n7000.zip 20,130,904" and press the "Power" button to select. Confirm installation by selecting Yes - Install _____. Zip on the next screen. ROM will automatically install.
- After completing the ROM installation process, repeat the step 7 but choose gapps-jb-file-signed.zip 20,130,813 instead of ROM zip to install the Google apps package.
- Back to the main menu of Recovery and select "reboot system now" to reboot the tablet and boot into Android 4.3 Jelly Bean ROM customized CM10.2. First time boot will take time so please wait.
- If this ROM does not suit you, move on old ROM by booting into recovery, select "Backup and Restore" and restore ROM follow the next instruction.
So you can use Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on Galaxy Note N7000 device.
