A report by Samsung by SamMobile published showing the process of updating to 4.4 KitKat Galaxy models 2012/2013 went into the last stage of testing.
According to the leaked list, the 4.4 update for the Galaxy Note 2 KitKat, Galaxy S4 Mini 4G, Galaxy Note 3 Neo has been completed. The other model is currently being tested and will receive updates in May and May 6/2014.
More specifically, the following model Galaxy will soon be updated to 4.4:
- Galaxy Note 2: updated.
- LTE Galaxy Note 2 (complete): May.
- LTE Galaxy S3 (end-stage test): May.
- S4 Galaxy Mini (late phase trials), Mini LTE: (Completed): June.
- Neo Galaxy Note 3 (complete): May.
- Grand Galaxy 2 (experimental): June.

Notably, the list was leaked on the international Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) has been canceled update to 4.4 KitKat. According to SamMobile , the reason may be because this version only has 1GB of RAM, while the LTE and the U.S. have more than 2GB of RAM.
When 4.4 launched KitKat, Galaxy S3 is less than 18 months. Hence, users could be absolutely hope top smartphone of 2012 is being upgraded. According to some insiders, Google has continually pushed Samsung to update the Galaxy S3.
The information leaked that Samsung has also started testing Android 4.4.3 on Galaxy S5 and ignore the update 4.4.2 to perform straight up the latest Android version.
